San Diego DU'ers...the commute might be fun

Going down the 15 around Black Mountain. There is a working fire at a plant and smoke could be visisble from the freeway. And yup, overhead nooz choppers.

I guess I enjoy doing traffic.

It's hard to see how anything at all could be "Off-topic" in a forum named "General Discussion," but I figure it's really just zappaman slapping her around for trashing up the place with posts lacking crunchiness.

I usually like zappaman's antics.  But this time he's acting like another rock star, Tom Petty.

If a tree falls in the woods, does anyone hear it?

If a bald dwarf gets slapped in a general discussion forum, does anyone care?

Well, actually the zapping primitive is right; this sort of thing belongs in a state forum.

"General Discussion" is in theory meant for those topics that can't be reasonably placed in another forum.

Damn, I'll bet she is.

I wonder when the zapping primitive got the position as host.  That's something new.

And so if I were the oblate spheroid, I'd tread carefully.

WTF exactly is "a working fire"?  Is that anything like an unemployed fire, or a retired one?

So brzybrzy's nemesis, zappaman, can now lock her threads? That's a hoot. I foresee an epic Meta meltdown in Nadin's future.

WTF exactly is "a working fire"?

It's just one of nadin's savvy, inside-baseball terms, demonstrating to the DUmp that she's a true expert professional authority at whatever, with a level  of technical expertise they can never hope to understand.

In addition to working, the fire is also "visisble".

According to her link it took firefighters "roughly 20 minutes" to extinguish the fire, doesn't sound like it was that big of a deal in the overall scheme of things.

20 minutes? I fell in a fire when I was a kid. It took almost that long to put my hands out. At least it felt like 20 minutes.

I wonder if hosts on Skins's island can be ignored.

I know that here, moderators can't be, in their own forums.

DemoTX, the fake vet and real life "Mr Ranger Sir" would know.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I seriously hope, if she gets banned from DU for sheer stupidity (imagine being too stupid for DU) that she comes over here (I'd welcome her with open arms in whatever language she thinks she knows) or finds another home where we can easily find her. A day without crazy bald dwarf stupidity is a day without...sunsh...no missing brain cells.
