Heart not in it as much w/o Fred in there. There's still hope for a Ronpaul meltdown on TV, I guess.

Patience attains all that it strives for.

God alone suffices.

This is the first one I have watched. The previous debates were held for delegates from ittsy bitty states with few delegates. I thought Romney was the clear winner. I liked his bashing of Bubba and the Hildabeast.

Plus, it *was* on MSNBC. I thought Romney did well. I thought McCain laid it on too thick being "proud" of his "conservative" record.  :whatever:

He claimed he voted against the tax cuts because they made no provisions for decreased spending. (cough)BS(cough).

It's on CSPAN right now.

I caught the second half - it was okay.  McCain demonstrated why he doesn't belong in the White House... Kyoto, global warming, kissing up to Democratcs.  Giuliani did pretty poorly IMO.  Huckabee had the usual one-liners and not much else (other than pushing for tax reform).  It was close between Mitt and the Huckster, but I think Mitt came out on top.

Kind of like voting not to bury the body because it makes no provision to stop decomposition.

Mama McCain: Son Has No Support From Base.

Q: How much support do you think he has among the base of the Republican Party?

Roberta McCain: “I don’t think he has any. I don’t know what the base of the Repub–maybe I don’t know enough about it, but I’ve not seen any help whatsoever.”
