i think ive told this story before.. but when my 22 year old was little, we were approached at Northpark Mall by a guy who gave us his card and wanted to take pictures of her. we checked it out to make sure he was legit... but i still said no.

little kids should be little kids. i think making so much of their looks or talent at such a young age ill prepares them for everything else in life. a lot of them do just fine.. but enough of them flame out and never recover, i just never thought the money was worth sacrificing her for.. even if she had turned into a superstar (slim odds on that) she would have turned out far different than she is now.. 


if a kid has a burning desire to do that hollyweird stuff, make them finish school first..

Hard to believe now, I know, but my parents were similarly approached by a department store representative and two other times that I don't remember the circumstances of. They said no as well.
