Some folks are claiming that back in 1996 Sarah Palin tried to have the Harry Potter books banned from her local library..... two years before the first of them came out.

I kind of doubt the veracity of the folks peddling this rumor.  They have been defectively honest in the past.... But if she can see two years into the future and predict the contents of books that haven't published yet.... I think we definitely need that kind of skill in the US treasury.

Stop the ACLU shows that:

A) the originating site retracted

and

B) Obama's site is repackaging the already debunked smear
