BNN - Untraditional Palin Pick Conflicts with Traditionalists

Karachi, Pakistan - 3 Sep 2008 - John McCain's choice of Alaskan govenor Sarah Palin to join him as his vice presidential running mate has touch off a firestorm of controversies. Chief among them is how can a mother of 5, including a special needs child, bear up to the rigors of being the nation's vice chief executive.

New York Times chief political consultant, Osama bin Laden had this to say, "We think this strikes at the very heart of everything wrong with American society. The godless infidels of the US are seeking to further their war against all muslims with this deliberately provocative choice. What greater offense is thir to The Prophet--peace be upon him--than a strong, self-assertive and attractive woman who does not cover herself or share her home with 3 other wives?"

Leading democrats were quick to follow suit noting that Gov. Palin lacked the experience to juggle family and career. "Just because she's been doing it her whole life doesn't prove compete with Obama's 18 months on the campaign trail," noted one democrat strategist. "I mean, my god, she's a women! How is she supposed to handle career, kids, a Down's baby a pregnant daughter and a husband that obviously wants to hit it even though she's 44 AND be one heartbeat away from the Oval Office. She'll be a blubbering mass one week out of every month while the Russian invade everything within a 30 minute drive time.

"Obama doesn't bring these vulnerabilities with him to the campaign. Yes, he is the father of two school-aged children but he's ready to lead from Day 1 beause he has Michelle, who knows her place when it comes to being the wife of a powerful husband, who will stay home and care for the children like a dutiful wife she is. You don't see Michelle hunting, fishing or shoving her way into traditional male roles and because of her being a proper mother you don't see her children being punished with unplanned pregnancies."

According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."
