primitive extols virtues of USSR (plus other insanity)

So did Joe Stack Go Galt?

The guy sounds like he was totally wrapped up in Ayn Rand from his manifesto/suicide note.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x7741166

This primitive is a cult following cheerleader of Dear Leader.

Oh, and the note was a summary of Ayn Rand.  That's why he quoted Karl Marx  :mental:

Quote from:

1. I read it differently - another Middle Class skilled tradesman destroyed by capitalism

And expect to be seeing much more of these kinds of acts in the next few years...

Destroyed by capitalism?  Destroyed by kooky idealism where all things are equal is more like it.

5. He owned his own company and a plane.

If that's "poverty" I'll take it.

9. And he was in the process of losing it all

Look - I have no sympathy for the guy

But if our system wasn't so corrupt and capitalist we wouldn't be dealing with this.

Say what you will of Marxist-Leninism, at least the people ate

The USSR was the land of milk and honey.

6. TEABAGGER...

So now they will resort to terror tactics to get their point across...Idiots. Something should be done about this insane movement before it gets completely out of control.

Yeah, Tea Party Patriot that rails against the man keeping him down and quoting Marx.  That makes sense.  :mental:

Hey primitives, this is one of your own.  Had his note been posted at your site yesterday, you whackos would have rec'd it to the top of the greatest page, there's no doubt about that.

Yeah, that's why over 100 million people starved to death under Communist regimes.  Asshole.

+1.  Taverner needs to ask the Ukranians how the Holodomor worked out.  Or perhaps the Chinese peasants under Mao's glorious revolution...

From another thread:

9. I have a different view of this than the many of you who have posted your take on it on this thread.

I think he presented his case well, lucidly (except a little more explanation about Bill Ross and the piano may have helped), and has expressed what many of us here on DU have expressed: Anger at the injustices done to the American people, frustration at the unwillingness of our government to help us, and helplessness at the realization that we ultimately have no power.

He speaks for me.

Imagine that this is a fed-up DUer posting a rant -- it could likely be recced on to the Front Page.

I'm sorry that it reached the point where it became too much for him to handle.

Rec'd to the front page?  It was never in doubt.

Hey, good find, USA4ME.

Is there a way for one of the moles to pose this question to Taverner without risking a tombstone?  It is part of factual history.  Ukranians do a remembrance ceremony every year.

What? FACTUAL HISTORY? That's like a cross to a vampire. These assholes will revise history until it suits their needs.

Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

As a second generation American of Ukrainian descent, let me be the first to say f##k you you c##ksucker.
The Ukrainian people died of starvation or bullets to the head, right outside their own farms after you c##ksucking communist-marxist-leninist pieces of $hit stole said farms. As many as 16 million.

Now taverner, you f##kin' pu$$y,  :foff:

They were starved to death, then shot, then sent to Siberia.

There even cannibals. I guess they didn't starve.

SOME were desperate enough to resort to cannibalism, but many, many millions starved to death or were shot - or died in penal labor death camps - for trying to escape the entirely Communist-created famine zone.  It is a story that is all too little known or discussed in history classes in this country, reason in and of itself to swear eternal hatred of Communism.  Between the artificially-created enforced famine of collectivization and the purges of the following decade, Stalin killed about twice as many people as can be laid at Hitler's feet, and Stalin's victims were almost entirely his own nation's citizens.
