Both Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares (the BBC version) are my un-guilty pleasures.  I do like a few of the reality-type programs: Deadliest Catch and The Academy are the best catch it underway (non-survival style) shows.

But I have to admit the other evening I somehow got fascinated with an episode of Shear Genius. And I like What Not To Wear as a bakground time waster on Saturday when I am doing other stuff.

I sometimes worry I have an inner metrosexual trying to get out

So the hubby is watching What Not to Wear (I can hear Clinton and Stacy chattering) and I'm thinking, "hmmmm...." So I teasingly ask him if he's all gheyed up yet and he says: "Nope. This girl has huge knockers and they took her to get fitted for a bra and I just got mesmerized."  :rotf:

Here's my list:

Flipping Out
The Real Housewives (both coasts)
Denise Richards
Reno 911
Jon & Kate + 8 (even though I want to loan him a pair and knock her through a wall - those kids are too adorable)
Gene Simmons
That 70's Show - it's like reliving my childhood. My parents are almost Kitty and Red.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.

I like Jon & Kate +8 as well.  I wish they could just give me one of those kids, they are adorable.  Kate is a tad overbearing though.  Sometimes I like watching Little People, Big World.  I couldn't stay married to the husband, his personality traits would drive me nuts.  I would also get those kids in shape and to act respectful, they are turds sometimes.  They are also huge slobs, sometimes I like to watch just so I can see what pigs they are.

LOL me too! I don't see how they walk around in all of that filth! Yuck!

I love to hate Kate. She's got more issues than readers digest. But those kids are too precious!

Ghost Hunters on the Sci-Fi channel. Ever since I saw that thermal image of a human sized figure on their camera at the Crescent Hotel, I have watched a lot of episodes.

South Park.

I love it, my wife doesn't want it in her house (dammit!).  So when she goes up for a shower, I flip over to Comedy Central and watch - with a finger poised on the <RECALL> button on the remote.

You're ashamed of watching Southpark? That's it, you're kicked out of the SP fan club.  :censored:

My wife loves "Hells Kitchen" and never misses one.  I don't share her thrill; I consider it too harsh.  We both like to watch that Dr. G autopsy show.

My "guilty pleasure" is to watch the intro to films on TCM.  That tubby guy, and then that younger bearded guy, they both seem so confident of the movie history they speak.  It is as if they were there.

After all, how else are we to absorb the information that Marilyn had skidmarks on her panties during the filming of "The Misfits" and Gable couldn't eat his commissary lunch thinking about it?

Oh, that's another favorite of mine.  I even downloaded a couple of episodes to my Zune MP3 player.   :uhsure:

I'd say the Armory episode from Season 1, when the sound guy Frank got "thrown down" by some entity, is my favorite.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer :shucks:  (Angel too)

Still watch that show sometimes and still mad that hulu only has seasons one and two. "Guilty" pleasure I guess cuz I'm 35 years old and the show is very geared to High School/College kids. LOL (also a bit soap opera-ish if soap opera's were much better written of course) Still, as a meger defense, I can say that it was my live-in gf's absolute favorite show when it came out. At the time she was 21 and I was "only" 24. (that lasted just under 4 years but I kept watching the show, heh heh)

"When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed."

ok, i will admit it .. I'm watching Living Lohan and Denise Richards's show....

the Lohans are kind of a train wreck but both shows are about the right amount of time i use my treadmill and i need a silly distraction to make the time go by out there..

I've seen that Lohan show once.  I may have to check it out again.  :)

its fairly boring but the mom is just way too involved.. she's in the middle of her college son's relationship with his girlfriend (no big suprise the girlfriends says adios in one episode.. but mom calls her and gets her back) ... Ali Lohan dresses, talks and acts far older than 14.. and does everybody now wear fake eyelashes?? Ali Lohan is a cute girl, but she looks 30something, although her body is still like a kids....

Denise Richards cusses like a sailer.. she is kind of funny actually.

Did you ever watch The Real Housewives of Orange County.  I've caught that a few times on a Sunday afternoon.  There's one mom that's waaaay to into her college son's life.  He's away at school and she shows up with a case of beer.  He's so embarrassed that she's there.  It was funny.

is that the young mom married to her new husband? she's got long blonde hair, is fairly small... she's cute i guess. but she's waaaay too flirty. its inappropriate and it would turn me off as a girlfriend to see someone acting that way.

i could totally see her showing up at school - trying to be the cool mom. cause, we all know, nobody is more fun to party with than mom  :whatever:

No, that's not her.

She's the second on the right.

ok, i was thinking of the one in the middle with the red dress...

isnt Laurie the one on the far left who married that ugly rich guy? i watched a few episodes but forgot what channel it was on..

I don't know, I've only seen a few of the episodes.  It's on Bravo.

Bravo did a the worst 20 Bravo moments show, or it was called something like that, and they showed her storming in on her son.

I've been watching "Secret Diary of a Callgirl" on Showtime.
I can turn off the sound and still enjoy it.

Watch the show and then tell me it was a living human.

ETA: Here is the video of that portion of the episode.

Creepy! How in the world could a human affect the number (the "2" that you see) that way? This was a thermal image and the number shows up hot.

Having watched the "analysis" part of the episode,  they could never determine what caused that to happen.   :o

I know there are skeptics here on CC, but I think they'd like the show regardless.  Jason and Grant always set out with one goal: to DEBUNK the supposed hauntings going on.   They have debunked much of what they've found, but there are also situations where debunking is pretty much impossible.  If folks go to  YouTube, type in "Ghost Hunters Ghostly Conversation", and watch the 5 videos associated with that episode (labeled 1-5).  Now that is a startling episode.
