Cool. :cheersmate:

Thank you. I feel sorta shitty, because while I have probably a couple hundred pages written, it's a very poor first draft. I've let the thing sit idle for a very long time, mostly because of time constraints. Be that as it may, some of the guys I talked to and who gave me their stories were there in the beginning and are dying off. I gotta finish this thing before any more of 'em croak.  :p

That is very cool, Eupher!  I'd love to read a couple of the anecdotes if you ever feel like posting them in the Sandhills or other private area.

You are an excellent composer. You compose yourself quite nicely.

That's a thought, but I have to say it's pretty esoteric stuff. Really not of interest to most people.

I'm paying off the credit card bill from the Brew Tour. Staying close to home, may go for a day trip ride around the lake. I'll pack a sammich and thermos of coffee if I do.

I guess my plans at this point are junkyard diving for Camry parts and a suspension upgrade for the MG.  Maybe a date.  We'll see. :ashamed:

Have some polo stuff to do Friday, Sunday, and Monday, and offered to help spell people at a grassfire on Saturday.  Then polo will be over and besides our continuing wildfire problems, it will be time to start shipping cows.

I just ended my long hold time on the phone with the airline.

I extended my vacation by four extra days..... it saved me $1.90 on the airfare, even with the last minute change.

I'm getting all my stuff ready (license, enough ammo, cleaning my shotgun) Friday so when Saturday comes around, my FIL, boys, and I can go to the family farm and kill some innocent (albeit tasty) dove. Once that's done on Friday, I'm meeting my parents for a birthday dinner, then cake over here at The W560 Compound.

It will be my boys' first time shooting a shotgun. We are all excited.

Of course, church on Sunday.

Going to the local pub to watch UT play/lose their first game on Friday night.

Working Sat morn 7-noon, and Sunday and Monday nights from 8-4am. Happy happy joy joy.

Also, since we move a week ago, I am still in unpacking mode. What a cluster ****!

UT is playing Duke or NC State, right? If they lose to an ACC team, they should just turn in their SEC membership...  :fuelfire:

No real plans right now.  If all goes as it is, Miss Chris and I will prolly grill a couplea steaks, eat a baked potato, and gnosh on Bread Pudding for dessert.

Isaac wore her out (plants, etc.) . It also put the kibosh on other pland and invites we had. Just gonna relax, really.

The men in my household are expecting UT to lose.  :(

It's about to rain.

Tomorrow is going to have a bunch of rain.

There is a circus, air show, go kart races, and two community fall festivals this weekend. The circus might be the big winner as it's indoors. They have so many events on one weekend due to some political conflicts. They did not want the air show to be the same weekend as the John Deere Golf Classic earlier in the year. So instead two little towns are getting robbed of revenue.

I am taking a much needed breather after moving and before I start classes again and dreaded FYE for big daddy gubmint. First weekend without the kids in about a month. I'm going to unpack, hang things on the wall, workout(how I have missed it!!!), do yardwork(since I have a real house with a yard I maintain again--yay!), and just kick back and breath. Nothing special but definitely relaxing.

I changed my plans for the weekend.

Ordered a pizza instead.  I don't feel like cooking tonight.
