Have you been using your starter kit?

I just ordered one today.

Yes, we ordered the couples kit. We're still down to about a half a pack a day, it's hard to totally quit though, have to work on the psychological addiction.

I'm using mine at work and most of the time at home.  I like it, but a couple times a day I still step out for a cigarette.  It was great to have on a trip last weekend.  I've noticed I take fewer puffs than I would a cigarette and reach for it fewer times.

I expect this will get me off the regular cigarettes within a couple weeks.

It is my hope that it will help me get off of the cancer sticks too.

Some problems with the E-cig. still to be worked out.  Not the devise but the use of them.  For some reason the bars and restaurants up here have been blind to the advertising of E-Cigs allowed at their front door.  To try out a new restaurant we have to call them, speak to the manager and ask if they allow vaporising in their establishment.  Just to make sure we get their name in case his shift is over and a different manager comes in. We double check at the front door and leave if the new manager says no.

Some airlines allow the use of the vapor and some don't, I do not know what the policy for AMTRACK is or for rental cars.  In the case of rental cars, how would they know anyway, the use leaves no smell in the air and a new car keeps its original Oder untainted with cigarette smoke.  Same with smoke free hotel rooms, we had to pay $50.00 extra to get a smoking room in DC before we got the E-C.

I would like to see a class action suit for discrimination based on the fact that this is a nicotine delivery system and people wearing the patch or chewing nicotine gum can use those devices.  Some restaurants have outside dining in the summer and still will not allow vaporising.   Ignorance of the law and fear of violating it and loosing liqueur license I guess.  Plus the hassle of showing the cops when they show up the device-----

Work places are slow to change, some make smokers leave the property on breaks and that includes the E-C users.
Fire one up in a hospital and watch the Nursing crowd dance about, you cannot do that our patient is on Oxygen,  so the patient also is smoking one!!!   Fortunately the Doctors now recommend the E-C and calm down the staff.

My device looks like a filter cigarette, same size, end lights up on inhale and has a plume of vapor coming from it.  I do not have the hassle of mixing anything, I buy a 18 cartrage box for $12.00, just pop it in and it is ready to go.

Hope everyone is still faring well.  For some reason, I have crept slightly off-track.  I could get a regular pack to last 48 hours, so 1/2 pack a day on avg.  I am stuck on 37-41 hours.   :hammer:  Need to get back on track!

I just rolled my own at my local "Discount Cigarettes" place. 9 bucks for 3 packs. They're about 3/4 as good as what you would get prefessionally done in the convenience store, (Camel is my brand) but they're honestly not bad. And ya can't beat the price.  :-)
