I don't think my lease allows me to keep Joooos in my apartment.

I'm a dog lover myself.  I've had a few cats though.

Hmmm.  To vote or not to vote.  I'm allergic to cats, but I prefer an animal that can mostly handle being by itself.  I do like little lapdogs but I'm never home.  I'd hate to have the poor thing desperate and miserable while I was gone.

I am a cat person.  almost always female cats.

I am amused by the fact that they ignore me unless I am feeding them, petting them,
or giving them something.

it reminds me of real life. :-)

The black & white one is Monty, the stupid one.
The grey & white is Mia (Monty's mom) and the extra friendly spoiled one.

I have three dogs and a 21 year old cat.  I am a D&C person.  I think I prefer dogs, if I must.  They need me.  A cat doesn't.

Aww.

Actually if I got a dog it would be something like that.  The cats have to be able to retain dominance.

They got the "I'm ignoring you more" game right on the money... especially the scene at the supermarket.   :lmao:

My very first cat was a calico with those colorings.  She lived to be 20.  I thought she was immortal after she turned 17.

If I go with a non-animal shelter cat, the next one I get is a Burman.

I'm a both but that wasn't available...can I vote twice? Once for cats and once for dogs?

Cats are wonderful, but I have to go with dogs.  Since my mom became allergic to cats, we had to give up our cat to my sister in Mississippi. :(  We adopted him at a pet store while vacationing in Arkansas just before moving to Georgia in 1999.   I'll try to find a picture.  He's very similar in color to Mia, but only has a white patch on his chest and feet (like socks).   He behaves more like a dog than a cat, though.

This is the newest doggie addition to the family, Beaux the Border Collie

This pic was taken back in December.  He's pretty much full-grown now.
