It took me three days to decorate (did it all by myself, except for putting the tree together, the ribbon and the star). I wonder how long it will take to take it all down? 
Don't even think about how long to take down. Just enjoy it now. So far all I've done is put a big bow on this little penguin statue and put the Christmas doormat in the hall. We also sort of finished the outdoor lighting, but it's a pretty humble display.
I need to get the tree brought up from the basement. The darned thing is so heavy. I got it a couple years ago at 75% off. The thing is very full and a beautiful tree. I wouldn't have picked white, but it was what was left. My ex was so nutty he'd leave a REAL tree up til March or later. You can imagine what it looked like after that amount of time.
So one of the first things I did was get an artificial one.
Your tree is so beautiful with an impressive ornament collection. I totally load my tree with ornaments, but it's only a 7 ft tree. There usually isn't a square inch that isn't covered with my ornament collections. It was one of my obsessions, but trying to refrain from too many more. There's simply no place to put them.
