It was crepe myrtle flowers and if I had skimmed them out of the water by the time I had put the skimmer away there would be more of them floating in the water.  Besides, I took the pictures for family, not for the cover of a magazine you a$$wipe.

If it was any cleaner it would not even look natural. Knowing how particiliar you are, it was just cute to see the flowers in the pool....as you like to make sure things are "done right".  That is a compliment by the way.

You are the one that notices every piece of dust in the DUmmie photo threads.... So I was just being a little critical of your masterpiece of a back yard...like I said, it looks nice...

The bamboo was a very nice touch to the pond by the way.

I really was just kidding about the wood (as I thought it was just the light, as it was not consistent with the other photo)....but I try really hard to be an ass....glad it worked.

It's not bamboo, it is horsetail rush.

I'm sure someone of his limits doesn't know some people pay good money for flowers to float in their pool. :)

LOL unfortunately I didn't "get it" the first time we had a pool at our old house.  We planted a crepe myrtle fairly close to the pool and the flowers were a PITA.  So I decided not only to plant TWO crepe myrtles by this pool, I planted one that gets HUGE as well.  I never learn my lesson.

I have had to deal with several pools over the years, and it's always something that seems to blow or fall in, making it a PIA. Heavy midwest rains used to really screw up my day of having to deal with the pool...all that in a climate where it could only be used about 60 good days....

They are messy droppers, but they are one of my favorites.

Now, wha'cha need is two big-o mimosa trees.  No mess there!

There is a mesquite tree that hangs over the fence.  It has all these pods that drop on my yard.  I hate that bastard tree.

Very very nice BEG. Back in the mists of time I used to be a landscaper and we'd do that sort of work around Winter Park Fl. The crepes won't be a bother to long  :evillaugh: They look great by the pool so they're worth the trouble if you're willing to put up with flower season.

Are you going to trim them back for winter or let them go into a canopy?

There is shit floating in the pool, ...............

Now that brings back childhood memories of sharing a 'real' pond with cows and horses. Those floating green things weren't lily pads.

Beautiful back yard BEG, enjoy it.
