How fast do you type?

You guys spend forever on the computer typing away on these message boards... so how fast do you type?

I just took this test with my new iMac and I'm not used to the keyboard at all.  The keys are flat and odd feeling... I'm still used to the contoured keys of my Dell.  But I just scored this.

I scored 65 wpm and 1 mistake.  I bet I could have been faster if my nails weren't so long.  I had to slow down to make sure I didn't screw up.  How did you get copy of your result?

I registered at 50 wpm with four mistakes.  Please remember I have almost no feeling in two of my fingers on my left hand.  It makes a difference.

I'm pretty sure my nails being long is more of a hindrance than two numb fingers on your left hand.   :tongue:

I scored 75 wpm, with 3 errors. That's disappointing, because I used to be faster.

Unless you do it for a living, that's perfectly acceptable.  For internet play, be proud.
