The question's posted at special request.
What kind of automobile do you drive?
I drive a Ford sedan.
-
A Nissan 350Z Sports Car

Awww! thanks, Frank. :) I always wondered why there had never been a thread like this, considering how people WILL show off their cars. but here is mine:

Mazda 6 i (Sport Value edition is what Mazda says it is. I have no clue what it means :rotf: ).

I drive a 2006 Kia Spectra. It has a wimpy engine, inefficient drivetrain, horrible resale value, and uncomfortable seats. I'm thinking of having a small turbo installed.
Other than that, it is a relatively attractive car with a great warranty and low price, and it drives just like my 1992 Toyota Camry.
For people who care about such things, it is silver.
-
I drive a land rover..great mileage, european engineering, goes anywhere and has incredible OOMPH..however, it terrifies the local mechanics so I am becoming an expert on Land Rover repairs by myself. I love the fact that I can easily manuver thru Vegas traffic, or hit the open range when told "take the short cut mommy" :hyper:

A Kia with a turbo? I think my Mazda would still be able to outrun it!

I'm sorry, Chris. I just saw an opportunity to tease a little. The car really is attractive, though.
*hugs*

We gotta white one. It's a truck.

The wife's car (and my toy):

Hers is the same color
Mine -- same color and all:

13,000 miles on it. When I get it washed the red can actually hurt your eyes in the sun.
And we 100% own both. Haven't had a car payment in 3 years.

The vehicle I wished I drove:

Those things had mechanical features even a non-mechanic could figure out.

My husband has an Infiniti G37.
This isn't it but it looks pretty much exactly like it.

Infiniti FX35
I have a friend that has one of those -- it has to be one of nicest rides of any kind of vehicle.
-
My mom has a 2003 Ford Thunderbird. It has a small V8 and it's sky blue.
It has a great engine, but it sits too low for me. I have to fold myself into it.

I love mine, it is still fun to drive. We leased it and the lease is up in about a year. I'm getting another one but this time a different color and it will have all the bells and whistles. :-)

OMG
my neighbor growing up had one of those and would drive it in local county parades and all us kids would pile in and ride..thanks for the trip down memory lane Frank. And yes, they were pretty cool cars.

You'd LOVE my wife's MR-2. You don't so much get into it as you put it on.

I wish I had never sold my 1989 MR-2 Supercharged. Bought a 300Z non turbo and then a 1994 MR-2 Turbo. I have spent piles of dough on new cars.

It's a '54 Plymouth Belmont. They have always fascinated me. It was a concept car which actually went into limited production.
I could die a happy man if that really was my wife's car.
