Quote
The judge presiding over the bitter battle for the Los Angeles Dodgers has granted Jamie McCourt's request to throw out the marital property agreement that gives her ex-husband sole ownership of the team.

A spokesman for Jamie McCourt, Mark Fabiani, says this clears the way for the Dodgers to be shared under California's community property law. If the ruling stands, it is possible that the Dodgers could be sold if one of the McCourts can't buy out the interests of the other.

And historians will point to this day as the day the Dodgers franchise officially became a joke.

Although it started the day they traded Mike Piazza for a handful of magic beans.
