The Canadian serial killer who lured over two dozen female victims to his pig farm is clinging to life after he was viciously attacked in prison, officials said.
Robert Pickton, 74, was in a segregated intervention unit at the maximum-security Port-Cartier Institution when he was speared in the head with a broken broom handle on Sunday evening, the Vancouver Sun reported.
As of Tuesday, Pickton was in critical condition and was not expected to survive.
Pickton’s 51-year-old attacker — whose name has not been released — had done a stint in solitary confinement for previous assaults on other inmates, a source told the outlet.
Foreign policy expert and former adviser to former President Donald Trump, Walid Phares, suggested Wednesday that the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi could have been an inside job.

Connecticut law enforcement officials released an illegal immigrant convicted of killing two young children in a drunk driving accident, despite a detainer request lodged against him, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
ICE agents apprehended Israel Alejandro Gonzalez-Arcinega, a 40-year-old Mexican national convicted of two counts of manslaughter, illegal operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and other crimes in Connecticut, the agency announced in a press release on Monday. ICE is blasting local officials in the state for releasing the noncitizen back into the community despite an immigration detainer placed on him.
“Israel Gonzalez was convicted of driving under the influence and killing two Connecticut children,” ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd M. Lyons said in a statement. “His actions shattered a family.”
“We cannot allow unlawfully present convicted felons to victimize the residents of our communities,” Lyons continued. “ERO Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by apprehending and removing egregious offenders like Mr. Gonzalez from our New England neighborhoods.”
Gonzalez was arrested in 2013 following a deadly car crash in Meriden, Connecticut, that killed two children and injured others, according to local reporting at the time. He fled the scene after killing two siblings — an 8-year-old brother and 5-year-old sister — and hospitalizing their parents.

Sells and autographs Bibles, says he is “The Chosen One” he said he was going to unfollow Trump at least! He couldn’t take my hectoring him either. Guess some men can’t handle strong outspoken women!

33. A uni pal invited me to her family reunion
I'd never been to one, and the concept sounded...interesting, in a scary way. So we go to the party at her grandmother's house, and meet the tribe.
Her grandmother had rather bad arthritis, and was sitting in one of those lift (?)chairs that still look like a recliner. Had pockets on the sides. I noticed them after one of my friend's cousins brought in her new beau, and he started praising reagan the traitor. Grans asked one time if he was saying what she thought he was. He smirked and said, 'yes, ma'am, he's the greatest president ever.'

He ran. The idiot cousin cried a bit, but stayed. She didn't get any sympathy for bringing a 'G-D republican' into her grandmother's house, when everyone knew that the woman had been a die-hard liberal Democrat since at least FDR.
