I went out for beers with a guy that has been my nemesis for years.  we came to an
understanding.  we sat at the bar, although the waitress was totally hot (not my idea,
it just worked out that way).  total damage was a mere $52.

I had to leave at 7:45 so I could be back for the rebroadcast of brett favre's game against
oakland on the NFL network.

so, what are y'all up to tonight?

Nothing going on here; it was zero degrees in the morning (Friday morning), but from here on out, the "low" is expected to be higher than 32 degrees F until next winter.

Lots and lots of mud, strongly reminescent of the socialist paradises of the workers and peasants.

You know, one time I commented to a socialist engineer in Kharkov that the country (this was Ukraine) needed more, and better, drainage.

The engineer told me "drainage" was a decadant bourgeoise capitalist concept.

Just sitting here, enjoying the beginning of Spring Break.  :)

Unfortunately, I do not have any alcohol, except for one bottle of Bacardi Raz (forgot that was still in the fridge), and am not in the mood to drive to the liquor store.

Maybe tomorrow.

Oh geez, that's funny.  Course, I live in an area with good drainage, so I don't really have to worry.

It's the weekend which means I'll probably spend 60% of the next two days on the sofa in front of the TV.  Damn weather.  It was near 70 for the last two days and now it's about to snow.  The latest snowfall I've seen here was in the middle of March but we're usually getting started with the rainy season here.

My eyesight declined through my 20's but seemed to even out after 27 or 28.  That is, I didn't have to buy new glasses every year.  Until now.
