Can anyone explain the reputation stats we all have?

What does plus and minus mean...how does it work, and how does it go up...Do I say something good?  I don't get it?

You get a Hi-5 when someone likes what you say, a slap when someone doesn't.  Whines get lots of slaps...   :-)

I've found that about 80 percent of my bitchslaps come from the sports forum.  Go figure.

That is my question.  Is there anyway to see who gave hi-5's and slaps, and the posts you got them for, or do we just take them and hope someone will tell us?

No way to see them--even the mods don't know.  I know over at city-data.com, the board there has a "reputation" feature where you see who gave you positive (or negative) rep.
