Just in case any of you are interested, here is a link to a graphic that will show you what the eclipse will look like in your zip code. I love stuff like this. I was thinking about going to Charleston in order to catch it, but then I realized that we will be able to see a 90% eclipse down here!

But viewing an eclipse can be a dangerous endeavor. That's because you shouldn't look directly at the sun.
Luckily, there are glasses with solar filters designed to let you see the eclipse in a way that will keep your eyes from getting damaged.

Here's a cool trick.
You don't have to stare at the sun.. I just looked for 20 or 30 seconds, then when you look away the view is etched into your eyeballs.
Problem solved!
