As was pointed out on Rachel today - global warming might be happening - but because of its moniker - the Regressives take shots at Gore et al everytime we get a snowstorm or a cold snap.

From now on we need to use the term "Global Climate Change" - because this defines better what is happening to our planet.

I wish President Obama - in one of his speeches - redefines this and tells us all that we need to refer to it as "global climate change".

We need to take that asinine Regressive talking point away from the other side.

Another primitive tries to inject some sanity - but is ignored..

It seems to me that an ice age would have more potential for devastation, so why on earth would we want to make it worse by decreasing the CO2 and greenhouse gases in the atmosphere?

Well, we're still in an ice age. Have been, here on Earth, for over 3,000,000 years. We've has a few interglacial warm periods, like now. Last glaciation period we were down to about 4,000 humans living in Africa and all the "megafauna" except whales died off.

Clearly, warmer is better for life, and, btw, CO2 has been as high as 3,000 ppm in the atmosphere, and there has never been a "runaway green house effect", and during Dino period, 93,000,000 BP plus, CO2 was at up to 7,000 ppm, andSTILL no "runaway green house effect".

TERMITES give off more CO2 and methane than all humanity including industrial CO2.....yet the loonies are not suggesting we kill all termites.....

The weather guy was saying that up to a foot of global climate change could fall in the areas north of DFW.
