And to BadCat, who was initially involved but had to leave.

I had a problem with a program, and it was of great concern because it was to allow me to get some work done this coming weekend.  I contacted the local telephone company, which promised to send a guy out on Friday, which was okay, but I preferred the problem be solved sooner.

The heat of the Sandhills, the chemotherapy, and other irritants made it even worse.

BadCat got started on helping me, but had to leave about the same time FunkyZero showed up.

After which the whole dilemma was resolved.  Thank you!
