Glenn Beck’s Ratings Have Dropped by 50% in One Year
   

Glenn Beck managed to lose roughly a million of his Fox News viewers in 2010, and his slide has continued into 2011. Beck’s viewership numbers have gotten so bad that he has been only able to top 2 million viewers three times in the month of January. Beck has seen his ratings decrease by half, and there seems to be no end in sight for the viewer exodus from his program.

Fox News averages about 1.2 million daytime viewers, and 2.4 million primetime viewers. Glenn Beck’s total viewership numbers remain above the daytime average, but well below prime time. For the first three days of this week, Beck had total viewership numbers of 1.9 million, 1.974 million viewers, and 1.99 million viewers. For this week, Beck’s program is second lowest rated show on Fox News, trailing on On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.

The week before Beck pulled viewership numbers of 1.63 million, 1.78 million, 1.76 million, 1.968 million, and 1.865 million. As Media Matters pointed out, “Between November and the first three weeks of January, Glenn Beck has lost, on average, nearly 500,000 viewers.” Those kinds of numbers aren’t viewer erosion. They are viewer emergency evacuation. One year ago at this time Beck was drawing almost 3 million viewers a night, now on a good night he may draw 2/3 of that amount.

 I think this is a good point.  One year ago, we as a country (a good deal of it anyway) were stunned to learn what we'd elected into the White House.  Was he a full blown Communist?  Socialist?  What forces are out there and what do they intend for our country?  One year later, we are well informed.  We know all about the Tides Foundation, ACORN, STORM, Van Jones and his ilk, all the nefarious associations and how they knit together.

Yep almost everyday I hear those words on his show, calling for more govt control of industry.
Of course it's from sound bytes of progressives but, I have heard it on his show.

I have to admit I am one who has dropped off viewin' Beck. Ever since the big rally in DC he has started to sound more like my preacher than a place for info. Don't get me wrong, I luv my Preach, but I don't even go to hear him more than once a month.

I'm one of those guys, ya don't have to tell me twice. Beck is startin' to sound like a rerun.

I've dropped off all my Fox News watching.

Not out of disagreement with what any of them had to say...but out of frustration and disgust with the dipshits running the country. I was watching it most of the day, and either in the evening or reruns until 4AM. I was making myself crazy....and seriously depressed.

Some......of us may have been stunned.

Some of us did the research long before the election.  Everything that was needed to make an informed choice was and still is available.  A lot of folks in this country just decided to say, "WTF, why not?".  I looked into him and I have never, ever voted (D) in my life.  3 hours of web research and my mind was made up.  Hold my nose and vote ....*ugh*...McCain.

Yep they see fox on every tee vee [sic] in the world. I have yet to see Fox on any public TVs.
Most of the ones I've seen are playing DVDs or some kind of sport.
