Is it ever right to take your own life?

I'm going to leave my personal situation out of this, but I'd like to solicit some opinions.

So, DUers, is it ever right to take your own life, and if so, under what circumstances?

Boy, did you just step in it

DUmmies: not only is it RIGHT to take your life, it's PREFERABLE that you do. As soon as possible, as cleanly or as messily as you like. Please feel free to seek my guidance on this matter WHENEVER  you have the slightest moment's doubt.

7. Money doesn't grow on trees.
 Neither does health insurance.

Seriously? In the Age of Dear Leader? You've just won the greatest event ever in your life, and you want to snuff it out? And why isn't Dear Leader providing all of the money and health care you need? Is he not as great as you told us?
There is no virtue in compulsory government charity, and there is no virtue in advocating it. A politician who portrays himself as caring and sensitive because he wants to expand the government's charitable programs is merely saying that he is willing to do good with other people's money. Well, who isn't? And a voter who takes pride in supporting such programs is telling us that he will do good with his own money— if a gun is held to his head.

Go out in a blaze of glory DUmmie and take as many other DUmmies with you as you can. The ones who manage to take out the most will have memorials or possibly even temples built for them.

I promise.

I say if one is a primitive, one not only has the right, but the obligation, to rid humanity of oneself.

I'm with you on this.  When's the next DUmb**** meetup?  Maybe this suicidal tendancy can be fostered and expanded on.

Well, technically speaking it does, at least in the era of 0bama. They're certainly printing it fast enough. It's kind of ironic, really. We're all supposed to be embracing this green lifestyle. Meanwhile the government that wants to force this nonsense on us is responsible for the destruction of more and more trees. Like every other cult leader rules don't apply to 0bama. The kool aid drinkers might want to be careful though...he strikes me as the type who would spike it if the need arose.

I read the thread. He doesn't even have a good reason to off himself. He has no friends, no job, and no life. wah.
Every one of those problems has a solution: get a job, make a friend. But like a typical libtard primitive, he wants it all brought to him.
Whats worse, the majority of posters can't even say there is anything wrong with his decision.

Frankly I think he's just angling for attention.

What if the worst were to happen to me? I would travel (by hook or by crook) to a pacific island, and retire there. I would grow my own food, build my own shelter and groove to the tunes of my solar radio. I may give up on life, but I can't give up on Rush.

I seriously can't believe some of the comments I'm reading. I mean, sure, these are people that want you controlled, re-educated, taxed out of existence, disarmed, some want you executed, etc., but the lack of compassion for these types of people is mind-boggling.

Dang! You beat me to it!! :-)

on a serious note though.......it's not the ones who pose such inane questions that need to be worried over. It's the ones who never say a word and then off themselves leaving loved ones behind who can't understand their selfishness.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Is it right to take your own life?

No, it isn't.  You are throwing away the greatest gift God gives you in the ultimate display of selfishness....

Should a DUmmie take his own life?
