The outrage (a whole lot of exclamation marks)
« on: August 14, 2015, 09:17:15 PM »
I've been hanging out like a Ghost Chicken lately and keeping quiet, but today was the straw the broke the camels back. I've had enough, and I have to speak out. I went to a local Hardees today to get a bite to eat. They actually expected me to wait in line. Then they had the nerve to expect me to pay for my order! That be retardant! I'm a fictional spirit-guide damn it, but they still expected me to wait in line and pay. I tried to speak out, but they were all too busy lording their human privilege over me to hear. I'm so pissed off right now at all of this human privilege that I'm tempted to go interrupt someone's post. #FictionalSpiritGuideLivesMatterMostOfAll

For new members and lurkers: I am a fictional spirit-guide with no smell whatsoever. I am part irish setter and part pigeon. If you don't smell any strange smells it means I'm probably standing next to you. As I am a fictional character anything I post should possibly be considered fictional.

I refuse to be a worthless lurker in this thread !
I must exclaim my outrage because it is impossible to contain !!
I am outraged for the sake of outrage, and also sympathize with the fictional spirit guide's outrage !!!
But my outrage is at a whole 'nother level !!!!
Outrageous outrage, certainly !!!!!
The kind of outrage that will break the shift and 1 button !!!!!!
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Dang, Flippy, I went to Hardee's today, too.

Not only was there a line, and I had to pay for my (and my wife's) food, BUT, instead of a tray, with my (and my wife's) burgers and fries, I got a number!  A F'N NUMBER!!!!! :argh:  A number to take back to my table, for all the world to see, until an employee brought me MY (and my wife's) FOOD!  I AM A MAN, DAMMIT, NOT A NUMBER!!!   :argh:

On top of all that, we got cups, EMPTY CUPS, that I (and my wife) had to fill with our OWN ICE AND DRINKS!  I think since I (and my wife) had to do some of the work (filling our own drink cups) that we should have received a discount.  The guy behind me in line, older gentleman, got a discount, and all he did was just show his AARP card.  WHY SHOULD HE GET A DISCOUNT SIMPLY BECAUSE HE'S OLDER THAN ME (and my wife)!!!!  That's AGE PRIVILEGE, and now my (and my wife's) WHITE PRIVILEGE is MADDER THAN HELL!!!!   :argh:

I (and my wife) want to know when the government is going to step in and fix this injustice!!

You can't fix stupid, but you can vote it out of office.

It's with great sadness that I read your account of the injustice foisted upon you and your wife. Privilege, it seems, has run amok. The only sensible thing that you can do now is find a get together for an ancient socialist guy and interrupt it.
