Welcome To Fringe Underground
Whatever happened to networking to defeat Republicans? Whatever happened to actually supporting Democrats? Whatever happened to sheer reality? In his first two years Obama enacted more PROGRESSIVE legislation than we've seen easily since LBJ if not FDR. (You Tube Maddow's listing if you need a refresher.) While not purity, seeing that Obama had to work with, you know, that other branch of government called Congress and there was a Senate that wouldn't pass the public option, but still, the MOST amount of progressiveness in generations. In the lame duck session he got a historic amount passed including ending DODT. He told the country not to give the Pukes the keys back. Instead, too many "progressives" bitched about not getting purity and stayed home and whined thinking insanely once again that this is how you "punish" the Dems for not being pure. Now they are whining because he has to compromise as was fully intended by the very founders of this nation when government is divided. And here on this site, there more attacking than support of Obama and most Democrats. So welcome to Fringe Underground, its rightful title. Wouldn't it be nice if we could actually get back to working to defeat Republicans. Now there's a thought.

Where to start...I just love the fights between the People's Front of Judea and the Judean People's Front.

6. Anyone else notice the twin strands of a) insecurity; and b) a need to CONTROL
 among our most "sensible" posters?

Yes, but I certainly wouldn't call them sensible.

Whatever happened to sheer reality?

No way.

Such a phenomenon has never, not ever existed on Skins's island.

Whatever happened to networking to defeat Republicans? Whatever happened to actually supporting Democrats? Whatever happened to sheer stupitity? In his first two years Obama enacted more PROGRESSIVE legislation than we've seen easily since LBJ if not FDR. (You Tube Maddow's listing if you need to vomit.) While not purity, seeing that Obama had to work with, you know, that other branch of government called Congress and there was a Senate that wouldn't pass the public option, but still, the MOST amount of lameness in generations. In the lame duck session he got a historic amount of bullshit passed including ending DODT. He told the country he won't give the keys back. Instead, too many "progressives" bitched about not getting cheetos and stayed home and whined thinking insanely once again that this is how you "punish" the Dems for being looney. Now they are whining because he has to take a vacation. And here on this site, there more attacking than support of Obama and most Democrats. So welcome to Fringe Underground, its rightful title. “The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

I beg to differ - it is always locked/deleted/'memory-holed' very quickly, but it bursts in briefly every now and again.

0 did get lots of regressive legislation passed. Ran up more debt in three years than any president ever has. The fruits of his labor are in, 1% GDP growth and trillion dollar deficits for as far as the eye can see. Skyrocketing energy costs and real unemployment at 20%.

This, dear DUches, is why sane people wanted 0 to fail in implementing his policies because his success would be a disaster for the USA.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
