They want to send "john Miller" back to November, 2000, to Florida, to round up 538 votes for Gore in the election....
In the year that followed Pres. Gore's election, New York has been wiped off the map by a terrorist's nuke, half of DC is rubble, 2 nuke power plants have been bombed, their now open reactor cores sanitizing everything for hundreds of miles downwind, coal mining is practically non-existent, no oil is being drilled for or pumped domestically, gas is $10/gal., IF you can find it, and food production in the US has ceased because there is on fuel to run tractors, combines, trucks, stores, refrigerators, warehouses, and processing facilities.
Not that it would matter, because nobody can afford the gas to get to the store anyway. The dollar is worth less than toilet paper, which you can't find either, and all the trees planted as "carbon offsets" are being cut for firewood, or traded as currency. Besides, half the US population is either dead from starvation or radiation poisoning, or speaks Spanish as a first language....
Then comes 2002....
