Thousands of right-wing protesters are in DC for the 9/12 Project march today, inspired by Glenn Beck and organized by Republican lobbyists. One rally attendee caught a particularly tasteless sign being distributed to protesters:

What's so tasteless about it?  People die.  That Fatass Kennedy was a people.  He died.  His fatass was buried.  His fatass supported socialist causes.  These causes need to be dead and buried.  Bury them together.  Fatass Kennedy and socialist cause together forever in the same hole.  Rotting.  Decomposing. 

What is tasteless is to pretend Fatass Dead Ted Kennedy deserves any sort of respect, living or dead.  Fatass Kennedy was about harming normal Americans such as myself.  Fatass Dead Ted wanted to turn my country into a place that was no longer free.  I hate him for that.  I spit on his grave.  Tasteless is honoring that Fatass bastard.  Tasteless is trying to spread the idea there is legitimacy in socialism.  Tasteless is joining forces with Satan as you all try to destroy the USA, the only hope this world has.

I don't know the numbers yet (does anyone?) but I would guess the Bush protest were bigger (leading up to the Iraqi invasion). However, I have to hand it to Obama. He got thousands into the streets and half the country supporting the marchers in a mere 7 months. That's gotta be a record.
