1. 1,316,456 = Maine's population

She's one of TWO representing those people so theoretically she's "got" 658,228 people.. and she's speaking for , deciding life & death issues for 300 MILLION people?

I am sick and tired of the people from the LOWEST population centers, always being in deciding positions for what the rest of us have to live with..

10. Does this mean we can no longer count on the Repukes getting this passed for us? We're doomed.

15. The entire panel only represents states with 2.7% of the U.S. Population

They represent just over 1.4% of the population if pro-rated between the 2 senator for each state.

It is really disgusting how much more power the smaller states have. This is why insurance execs donate so heavily to them. But it is a fault of the Senate as a whole that they put the control in these 6 people's hands.

By contrast, Obama's state alone represents 4.2% of the population and Pelosi's state 12.1%.

I'm not sure this is what the founding fathers had in mine. The vast majority of the population being held hostage by these self-absorbed self-serving asshats.

And then the racist babbling sister primitive gives more bad news:

6. Except Hoyer is getting weak-kneed now. Same as it ever was.

I hope the progressive caucus sticks to their guns.

Hoyer not firm on public option

12. You're right about Finance Committee - it was NEVER going to be in that bill. It was Schumer blowing smoke about his role fighting for public option there when many of us knew damn well his claims were for SHOW as he was the one actually negotiating trigger and co-ops. Corporatist through and through.

4. She's lying

Republicans lie a lot.

Haven't you noticed?

Well, one supposes the unfrocked warped primitive would know a liar when she sees one, because it takes one to know one.

5. Who put it 'on the table'? I can't think of one person in that 'gang' who has even considered it.

Ha ha.

The DUmmies from our nation's urban hellholes, the ones solely responsible for a Kenyan defiling the White House, need to understand that this
representation thingy was the key point in negotiating our Constitution, and I'm convinced those negoiators were guided by the hand of God. The fact that DUmmies are being held hostage by these "asshats" from small states is exactly what the Founding Fathers had in mind.

yes indeed - which is why they hate it. Even though The House of Representatives is staffed based on population, it isn't enough for them - They expect it in the Senate as well.

I wonder how long it will be before they suggest dividing blue states with large populations to gain more Senate seats ?

That would be difficult to do geographically. In nearly every socialist state, the socialists are concentrated in a tiny, blighted corner. If you divided, say,
New York, or Michigan, or California, or any other socialist workers' paradise, the net effect would be to give two senators to the civilized and decent people who live in the vast geographical majority of the state, leaving the same two current socialist senators for the dirty, steaming, squirming masses in the urban hellholes.
