Yes, Twitter is having a meltdown about this as well, and getting lots of pushback. Why so mad? Martha's Vineyard is a very lovely place, and this influx will enhance its diversity, which is a strength. All those rich libs need lots of household help, so there's plenty of work.
And yes, there is no coersion, so it's not "human trafficking."

Maybe 200-400 people *? :rotf: When it comes to giving the Vineyarders (and, unfortunately, those there who voted against Brandon) a taste of the medicine they voted to impose on Texas small towns and cities, that's a very tiny dose. Dem-majority cities need frequent doses, samples of the 100s of thousands of illegals with whom they voted (the out-voted excepted, of course) to flood Texas small towns and cities.
On another tack, I'd love for some brave DUer to challenge mal on why sending illegals to Martha's Vineyard isn't sending them to Paradise and a blessing to the Vineyard's Paradise-dwellers. mal is probably too Prog-sacred to be challenged (too bad Abbott and DeSantis can't send some of those illegals to Jamaica, :-) ).
* I learned a couple minutes ago that they only numbered ~50.

There are three objectives to Biden’s immigration policy. One. flood states that typically vote Republican, in the hopes of changing that in the future. Two. To punish those states by stretching them thin economically by foisting all of these people upon them that will require much financial support. Three. to make the urban hellholes that many Democrats come from look good, by dragging the rest of the country down into poverty.
If the Democrats actually wanted all of these immigrants, they would send representatives to the states where they are arriving and bring them in themselves. I think the sooner Democrats realize this is just a game that their leaders are playing, the sooner this nonsense will stop… Naaa, who am I kidding ? They’ll never figure it out.

After the Texas border? The security gates at San Antonio Int'l before they got on a Biden-approved, tax-payer funded plane ride to Jacksonville, Orlando, and Miami, Florida. I was there last year. IN San Antonio Int'l waiting on my flight to DFW to head back to PCB. I saw hundreds of Haitians. How do I know they were illegals?
