Get ready for serious job growth over the next six months. The economy is about to go big. It’s going to happen a bit more gradually with the current unemployment structure. FL is about to see a lot of hiring as people are forced back to work.

DU will be adding a half-dozen bump-ready economic-threads this week.

IIRC, the economy has to add 200K-250K new jobs every month just to keep pace with the "background" noise of people entering the job market for the first time (or reentering after a long off-time). IOW, 266K is, at best, a modest gain at a time when employers in many areas are scrambling to find workers. Some states are shutting down the enhanced UE payments, due to lots of employers hiring, so that may help drive new jobs in those states.
When that happens, LIEden will be given and take the credit, even though he was a barrier to, not an enabler of re-employment.

Absolutely! The enhanced benefits, that those who have continued working don’t receive, are killing a huge part of the economy.
