That's not really the point. Waterboarding and other techniques used to gather intelligence are not new events and unique to the Bush Administration. It just didn't matter before because the liberals don't give a fat rat's ass about "torture" and they didn't have their worst enemy in the White House. They still don't care. The raving moonbat protest against anything they can tie to the Bush administration is just a tool.
The tool works for the liberals to an unbelievable degree due to human nature. Normal people (and silly moonbats) are bombarded with information all the time. There is not time to stop and compare all things. It is too big of a job. That's why liberal hypocrisy is so seldom exposed. If folks had the time to stop and think about it, they would think, "Liberals are against waterboarding potential terrorists who want me dead, but these same liberals want to arrest decent folks who protest to stop the practice of stabbing little babies in the back of the head and sucking their little brains out". Then they would think, "Hmm, that is pretty damn hypocritical of them. They must have another reason to be against waterboarding potential terrorist who want me dead". Then it would dawn on the normal folks (NOT the silly moonbats) that liberals are not about their best interest at all, just power and politics and the destruction of the United States of America.

Frank, a few others, and myself have to write thoughtful and insightful posts. It is a burden we must carry. We don't want the lurkers and drive-bys to think everyone here is like you. :tongue:

Very true. Not only that, but they also say "Bush stomps on the 4th Amendment!!" in regards to the data mining and whatnot. Not to think for a moment about Clinton's Eschelon program. But the average voter doesn't have time, nor probably the patience to look up the information his or herself. Just buy what the lib media says, and go watch American Idol.

I believe that they should all start singing "We Are The World" in the background when they spout this bullshit.
Under the Genieva Convention there is no protection granted to armed, un-uniformed, enemy combatants, sabatours, spies.... and the like. In all reality they can all taken out right now and shot in the head.
During the capture of the Phillippine Islands by the Japanese during WWII there are some famous photos of Japs beheading Americans. But not one Jap was ever tried for the actions because they were executing armed, un-uniformed, enemy combatants, sabatours, spies and the like .................... even though they were Americans.
To make it really easy and simple they should just execute everyone of them right now and be done with it.
I believe that the United States Government and it's military have acted more than honorably while dealing with these mooks.
Under the "GC" ......."combatants" are not to take refuge from or fire at their opponents from schools, churches, hospitals or highly populated civilian areas. If they should do such a thing it is now "legal" for the opposing side to level the structures and surrounding areas. The US has taken great care to not do this, though they are well within their right to do that and then execute on the spot those un-uniformed combatants that they capture or surrender.
Maybe we should have taken the gloves off long ago?

If you were the mayor of a US city and the FBI came to you and said they needed assistance from your local police force because they caught a terrorist mastermind and waterboarded him to find out a dirty-bomb was going to go off in a matter of hours would you refuse the info or eject the FBI from your city?
