Hello Teri! It's not often I run into another Teri and it's even less often I run into another Teri AND a Terry!! Must be in the right place!
Hey MissTeri...nice to meet you. I've always liked my name, except when my three brothers used to call me "Teri the fairy" when we were little kids, but back then...I don't think they knew what "fairy" meant because I'm a female..
My Dad gave me that name according to my mother who wanted to name me Brenda.. and oddly enough, later in life when I was in my early twenties, I met another woman who's name was Brenda and we looked like indentical twins. That's no lie either...it was really weird.
I like the name Teri or Terry is how it's actually spelled and not Teresa, but someone else already had "terry", when I subscribed...so I had to go with just "Teri".
Also, the name "Teri/Terry/Terri" also means, "leader of people"...I just read that and have no idea if it's actually true or not.
So yeah, we have a really kewl name, although somewhat common. Most Teri's are smart, witty, intelligent and compassionate, but tend to be on the reclusive side a bit because we're grossly under appreciated and vastly misunderstood..*toot-toot*... So I have no doubt that you're good people.
Want to see something else weird? Here's a pic of my beloved Katie who went home to Jesus a couple years ago. When I saw your avatar...I almost cried too... She lived to be about 22 years old when we lost her. The only thing that wasn't human about her was the fact that she looked like a cat. She was by far the most intelligent, loving and beautiful creature I've ever known. She is missed terribly too.
