NBC: Baby boy killed during attempted arrest in Mississippi
A baby boy died from injuries he suffered when Mississippi police gunned down his murder suspect father, authorities said Tuesday.
The months-old child was traveling with his father, Eric Derell Smith, 30, who had been wanted in connection with a double-homicide investigation in Louisiana, officials said.

Biloxi police learned that Smith had crossed into Mississippi on Interstate 10, and, at mile marker 40, "the suspect drove into the grass median and became stuck" at about 3 p.m., according to De Back's statement.
"As the suspect exited the vehicle, shots were fired. Medical attention was given to the suspect but he died as a result of injuries sustained," De Back said. "The juvenile did receive injuries and was taken to a local medical facility for treatment."

It's truly tragic that the child died. It was an accident. No doubt. The baby's double-murderer of a sperm donor (NOT father) was fully responsible for what happened. A few of the DUpipo have enough sense to place the blame where it belongs, but, Starfish Saver is all over this--as usual--with her ACAB crap.

Sad but accurate.
Curious to see what the baby's cause of death comes out as. What happens if the injuries were from bouncing around the getaway car without a car seat? or from something that happened before the chase? Wonder if any of the DUmpster denizens blaming the cop will still hold that position if any of those turn out to be true. That is why logical people wait for enough data to make an informed decision, instead of jumping to biased conclusions, like this...

Recognizing that doesn’t absolve the father of his poor decisions. But the child was shot by someone other than the father. That is where the blame lies. The trigger man.
