Does Couric wonder how these workers can reconcile vacations while other Americans are unemployed, and would she like to be in the dentist's chair for root canal with a dentist who has not had a break for an extended period?

There was a comparison put together by IIRO MSNBC about how W took more vacation days than any president prior.

I dunno if anybody else saw the news a few days ago, where it was mentioned that Ma and Pa Kettle have taken more international trips the past six months, than George Bush did his first four years in office.

Ma and Pa Kettle have been outside the country quite a bit.

It's very reminescent of Richard Nixon--and yes, I do deliberately wish to draw a parallel here--who during the height of Watergate was always taking off for Moscow and Peking and other unAmerican destinations.

I heard that.....also that he has...essentially ....been around the world TWICE ....along with his other jaunts all around the US and Hawaii for a variety of trips.

The report I heard.....Zell Miller was quoted as saying ....that shouldn't someone be questioning how often he is gone from DC and perhaps suggest he STAY HOME and pay attention?
