You know, Iowa's 12-26-3 against Nebraska, but Iowa's got a pretty good team.

Iowa could very well beat us next week.

It'd be disheartening of course, discouraging, but on the other hand, Nebraska's new to this Big 10 thing, and hasn't been around long enough to get used to it.

We eventually will be, though.

You know, I guess the Big 10 too has a history of exchanging some sort of physical trophy, but it's new to us.

In the Big 12, and earlier in the Big 8, it was just common that the governors of the respective states "bet" one of their state's products against the one of the other state's products, for the winner.

I disremember what other governors placed in bets, but the governor of Nebraska always put up Nebraska beef, the finest in the world.
