Eagles file suit against T.O. to reclaim bonus money

Daily News Wire Services
The Eagles sued Terrell Owens for bonus money he has not repaid the team. The suit for nearly $770,000 was filed in U.S. District Court yesterday.

Owens, the former Eagles receiver, lost in arbitration earlier this year, a ruling calling him repay bonus money the team paid him when he played in Philadelphia in 2004 and '05.

Neither the team nor Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, returned phone calls from the Associated Press seeking comment.

The Eagles suspended Owens for conduct detrimental to the team midway through 2005, a half-year after he helped them get to the Super Bowl. Owens lost $965,000 in salary from the final five games of 2005 after the team withheld game checks.

Even though it's far too early to ask, I really want to know who you will be picking to win that division.  Remember something--even though I am from NY, and actually wanted the Giants to win the Super Bowl, I am not a Giants fan--the Steelers are more my taste.

the Giants will FINALLY win their division :lmao: ...

the cowboys have a tougher schedule than last year &  Wade/JJ are starting to screw w/ things & parcels guidance, coaches & players  have been thinned out ...

IMO, this years draft for the cowboys SUCKED & will be a monumental bust....whereas Eli has finally found his groove & Tuck, Osi will still be around to RAPE Romo when they play each other...

but like you said, it is too early & I guess strahan coming back & being worth a damn will be a big factor too.... kawika mitchell's loss may be a factor too...he seemed to really be a force in the playoffs... (but then again, when you've got tuck/strahan/osi gang raping the other team, mitchells job was fairly easy eh??)

but bottomline is, I think the cowboys will take a step back, but, maybe thats what they need to get ahead when it counts...??

Pffft if Mcnabb gets some help from his reciver corp I think the birds will take the Div this year. The Gaints will come back to earth and the cowpukes will choke.
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."
