Dropped to $3.54 since I last posted today.
Still hanging out around the $3.70-3.75 mark. Thanks, Barry. Heating oil for my next fill at this rate is going to be about $3.60-3.70/gal around Christmas, meaning there's $700-plus that could have gone for the kids.
My wife went to Charleston, IL, to visit a grand-daughter yesterday.Gasoline was $3.33/gallon, and at one place it was $3.16/gallon.Geez........
WTF? That ain't too far from here and the cheapest I've seen lately was $3.78.
There's no rhyme or reason. Tonight it was $3.29 when I got gas in Indiana at a BP. Now it's $3.54 around here.
Well it is supply and demand, especially on Sundays, when everyone, is rushing to get gas in their car for the week.
People do that? I just go whenever my fuel light is on.
H5!!!! At last, I found someone else who waits for the fuel light to come on before getting gas!!
Kind of makes me wonder, are Obama supporters that own stations deliberately losing money to lower the prices?
This might not be the best plan when it come to the life of one's in tank electric fuel pump (cavitation). It can become accute when going around sharp curves with very low fuel. You don't want to have to replace in tank fuel pumps, it can get expesive.
Just topped off for 3.29 at SAMs club
