It dropped a bit, the past couple of days.

Now down to $3.87 for the ethanol blend, $3.97 for the pure gasoline, which I use.

<<still escaping paying $4.00 per gallon, but it's inevitable.

We paid $3.44 tonight at Sam's. M paid $3.56 yesterday at Pilot in the next county over.

It should last me about a week.

I paid $4 a gallon yesterday.  Couldn't even get a half tank of gas for $30.

Paid $4.09 for prem. in Baton Rouge. Warning light came on so I stopped at the first station. Paid about 10 cents per gal more than the next  station I passed.

We have entered an era where buying gas is like playing the futures and options market.

Bought regular gas for the tractor / blower  on 9/21 for $3.92 at a high volume station just off I95 (Flight line)
Bought regular gas for the G6 on 9/24  for $3.79 at BJ's ( Club / Discount outlet usually $.10 per gal less)

It cost fifty one dollars to fill the G6.

I can hardly wait to go get diesel (I top the MH up for winter and need about fifty gallons).

I just got back from a quick dash into town this morning (Saturday morning, Octdober 20).

Gasoline prices at all three places plummeted overnight, to $3.54 a gallon, down a whooping 15 cents from yesterday.

One wonders what's up with that.

On the flip side of the coin, diesel prices skyrocketed the past week, to $4.33 per gallon.

It averages between $4.10-$4.15 a gallon depending where we go to fill up.
