Been stuck on $3.49 for a week here.  Just waiting for it to hit $4.00 by summer.

I paid $3.459 two days ago here in north-central Mizz-ur-ah. Prices are going up faster than a pimp's cut on his hookers.  :-)

$3.55 in town.  I paid $3.43 an hour south of here and thought I got off cheap.

I don't do a lot of driving (other than going to BFE and back to work on my car where it's parked), but this is ridiculous.

I still don't see how owebuma got elected with gas prices so high. It was hitting the white guilt white shame voters right in their pocketbook. Usually that's enough for them to swallow their guilt and shame.

$3.75 for regular here. That was on Thursday, it might have jumped on Friday for the long weekend.

I traveled to Dayton, OH over the weekend. I was surprised to see the highest prices in Indiana ($3.979), not in the People's Republik of Illinois ($3.879). At home it's $3.269.

I haven't looked lately, but have prices jumped recently?  The mess in Iraq seems like a perfect excuse for prices to go up.

Actually, at least here, it down a nickel or so......$3.26/9 at 5 am. this morning. I put up the time because the gas delivery truck usually comes around 8 am. and that's when the price changes one way or the other.

With the price of diesel today at @ $3.85 I might be able to afford to drive past the city limits.

In RI on Friday regular unleaded was $3.85/gal.  Same day in NH, I topped off at $3.60/gal.

Live free or die, bitches.

Oh wait--they just voted to jack up the gas taxes here by 12 cents.  And Maggie the libtard is salivating at all that cash rolling in.  FML.

Gas has dropped to $3.55/gal here but I keep hearing on the news how prices are going to go up because of Iraq.  They've been falling for the past few weeks here.  :mental:

Well, if the media can't drive the prices up that way, they will resort to "there is a gas shortage". Everyone will rush out to top off their tanks and fill up a few cans and there will be........a gas shortage.

Just think of the millions of gallons of storage space in half filled cars, trucks, tractors, equipment.....enough that, if everyone buys at once, you will have a shortage.

U.S. Seen as Biggest Oil Producer After Overtaking Saudi Arabia

By Grant Smith  Jul 4, 2014 11:56 AM ET  535 Comments  Email  Print

The U.S. will remain the world’s biggest oil producer this year after overtaking Saudi Arabia and Russia as extraction of energy from shale rock spurs the nation’s economic recovery, Bank of America Corp. said.

U.S. production of crude oil, along with liquids separated from natural gas, surpassed all other countries this year with daily output exceeding 11 million barrels in the first quarter, the bank said in a report today. The country became the world’s largest natural gas producer in 2010. The International Energy Agency said in June that the U.S. was the biggest producer of oil and natural gas liquids.

“The U.S. increase in supply is a very meaningful chunk of oil,” Francisco Blanch, the bank’s head of commodities research, said by phone from New York. “The shale boom is playing a key role in the U.S. recovery. If the U.S. didn’t have this energy supply, prices at the pump would be completely unaffordable.”

Oil extraction is soaring at shale formations in Texas and North Dakota as companies split rocks using high-pressure liquid, a process known as hydraulic fracturing, or fracking. The surge in supply combined with restrictions on exporting crude is curbing the price of West Texas Intermediate, America’s oil benchmark. The U.S., the world’s largest oil consumer, still imported an average of 7.5 million barrels a day of crude in April, according to the Department of Energy’s statistical arm.

It was down to $3.52/gal here. Something isn't right.  Normally we have had higher prices than the national average, but since the city made some talk about adding a new sales tax in the city and possibly county, the prices have been under the average.

It's about $3.45-$3.60 for regular in the Music City.  I got lucky and bought my last tank for 25 cents off because I spent that much more on groceries for the month.  It was never this high during the last administration, at least not regularly.
