Nebraska 28, Colorado 20, final.

Colorado got a last-second (actually, last three seconds) touchdown, 56 yards.

Well, one has to admit Colorado put more heart into the game than Nebraska did, even though Nebraska had more at risk, while Colorado had nothing to lose.

I'm not familiar with this rivalry; which side usually wins, historically, since the beginning?

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

So, why did Colorado not kick the extra point? There was no time remaining on the clock, and the Nebraska win was assured, BUT, BUT, that game had an  8-POINT SPREAD! The extra point would have made the final score 28-21!  All the decent and civilized people who took Colorado and the points would have won their bet. The teams lined up for the kick, and the officials waved them off the field. Announcers made some lame comment about a rule. I'm sure I've seen extra points kicked with zero time before.

I wondered about that myself, but I'm "seeing" the games text-wise, and not in pictures, and can only imagine what something looks like.

And I had problems trying to imagine this scenario.

Ahem.

Undefeated and 4th ranked TCU 30, New Mexico 10 at the half.

Early in the 2nd Quarter, New Mexico had negative yards of total offense.

The Frogs have been a little sloppy, but 30 minutes away from a perfect regular season.
