School shootings is a worldwide problem.

Should have added a sarcasm tag
. I'm aware that there are school shootings and other forms of violence in schools around the world. There was another thread here the other day about a bombing at a school in England I believe. But the narrative is that only evil white supremacist Mericans shoot up schools, even though many of those "school shootings" actually only occur near a school or after school hours and are just included to pad numbers and give the gun grabbers fodder, and significant numbers of the shooters are folks with high melanin content, like the future doctor here in Ft. Worth that got a gun into a high school and popped off a couple of shots, hitting a student and a teacher, but who was home on bail within 24 hours and disappeared from the news cycle as soon a picture of him popped up, or the genius football player who had a gun in his bag at a game and it went off in the bus. He vanished from the narrative quickly, but I'll bet a good stack of cash that incident is included in the statistics.
As a teacher and a parent, school shootings and schools responses to them concern me greatly. We have had a lot of threats made in our district and in the area, we have had incidents of people reporting suspicious activity around schools and events (a couple of football games this weekend) where guns were found and possible violence was prevented. It's a mess of failures from schools, parents, and society in general that have gotten us to this point, and it's not going to get fixed until all three of those factions get their heads out of their butts to fix the root problems and the mindsets that got us here.
