Anecdotally, I'm ubering around the DFW metroplex and still see plenty of "now hiring" signs all over, on restaurants, warehouses, manufacturing places, mechanic shops. Every school district is severely all staff, teachers, aides, support staff, ect. So my question is, are all these job cuts in other industries that you don't see big signs for, is it cause Texas is doing much better in many ways than much of the rest of the country or what exactly is going on? My hunch is the latter, with Texas throwing open the economic flood gates early.
