Title: media smearing Woody Hayes again

We all know how it goes; the media sanitizes bad guys, and smears nice guys.

But not only in politics, but also in sports.

And so the smears about George Steinbrenner are, well, predictable.

However, George Steinbrenner is very much alive, and can take it.

Woody Hayes died a long time ago, and needs rest in peace.

Anyway.

In this morning's Omaha World-Herald--no link, because it's just a blurb from the sports page, from the sport gossip column--it says a former reporter for the Ohio State University student newspaper alleges that whenever the Buckeyes lost a game, Woody Hayes had a habit of strutting around the locker room au naturel..

Naked as jaybird.

Yeah, right.

The former reporter says it was to "motivate the team to do better."

Yeah, right.

I agree with you, sir.  Coach Hayes might have been pretty intense, but a moonbat he was not.
