NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- A year after the passing of health reform, a new industry report revealed that consumers may be paying billions of dollars more in out-of-pocket health care expenses than was previously thought.

These "hidden" costs of health care -- like taking time off to care for elderly parents -- add up to $363 billion, according to a report from the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions, a research group.

This trillion dollar spending package is going to cost us even more. We need to reduce costs, not increase costs and deficits. Obama's plan is a failure, he should admit this, repeal the plan, and start over working with Rep. Paul Ryan and other policy-minded folks who are willing to propose ideas.

Soetoro isn't going to admit anything, scrap anything or start anything over.

This was never about healthcare in the first place. It was an economic kamikaze designed to destroy as much as possible and cause maximum disarray in the economy.

It was also intended to plant the seed in as many minds as possible that entitlement is their birthright, increasing the size of the welfare class proletariat. Same intention as with the lack of jobs, keep as many people as possible on the public teat so they get accustomed to it and vote to keep the government issue hammock lifestyle.

This was never about healthcare, comrade.

From a policy standpoint, the plan makes no sense. We cut medicare advantage and raise taxes on expensive plans to pay for a plan that has an individual mandate and premiums are expected to increase, not decrease under this plan. It just makes no sense. I am well aware Obama and his allies won't repeal and replace the plan, but in order to cut spending and be more competitive in the world we need a health care plan through the private market that cuts premiums and costs no more than what we were spending on health care under Bush.

Obama" and "...things that make sense..." are mutually exclusive terms.

But, this is not free health insurance. In this country, we give the very poor and elderly free care, though they pay into the system. Low-income and middle-income Americans are the ones who have a tough time affording health insurance. So rather than allowing them to write-off part of the cost for tax purposes, enacting tort reform, or allowing state's to make choices, we get a federal healthcare plan that gives a monopoly to the health insurance and no longer gives incentives for companies to keep costs down.

No, they do not and we must stop this non sense. Something needs to be done on illegal immigration, it is a national security issue and it costs us $90 billion per year.
