Just got a confirmation: I've been elected to the King's County (Brooklyn) Democratic Committee
Petitions approved and no Primary opponent. I’m part of a reform slate that will be taking on the County Committee leadership (which has been trying to know a lot of Committee and District Leader candidate. Should be fun.

I see he's gotten all congratulatory Replies, some from DU-long-termer noteworthies. I'm actually a bit surprised, since Brooklynite frequently corrects crazy stuff DU-grade Progs want to be true.

I'm guessing he'll try to rein in the batshit crazies in control of the Democrat party at the moment.  I wish him well, but he's probably going to fail because of sheer exhaustion.

He'd be bailing against the tide of the likes of Alexandria Occasional-Cortex. Not even Don Quixote would take on a quest that hopeless.

IMO, the time to rein in AOC and her Squad was 5 or 10 years ago. If Brooklynite really wants to rein in the crazies, he may learn that the crazies may have the power and numbers to rein in him.
