Help me understand....by Tigress DEM

They seem to think that Romney will help bring back manufacturing jobs to the state.... though he is one of the original outsourcing millionaires and Obama has actually helped the Auto Industry and has been trying to get jobs bills through while putting out all the fires started by the Bush administration. Still... they believe a man who lies every chance he gets just because he wraps a flag around himself and says he's a Christian (well Mormon) and now is against abortion, though he was for it before.


I know people on DU who live in NC aren't drinking the koolaid. What do YOU say to friends and neighbors who think Romney is the answer? Any kind of facts seem to fall on deaf ears.

Unemployment has gone up during owebuma's reign. There are about 1 million less people working now, than when owebuma took over. That's the ultimate in outsourcing.

Its worse than that because there also also 4 million more people in the workforce now than 4 years ago so we are 5 million jobs in the hole

My county's official number hangs around 20% so the actual number has to be closer to 25% or higher!

My town's unemployment is 19%.

Nevada has the highest statewide unemployment in the land. Harry Reid should be proud. Of course he does not even live here. He just seen our new airport wing for the first time this weekend and that was for a "dedication" aka: campaign speech.

I don't know if NV has changed since I lived there, but Harry Reid was pretty much only in office because he would go up north and speak like a conservative and fool the northerners into voting for him. He always has Vegas locked up because of the libs there.

I hope I have a chance to do the happy dance one of these years when he is voted out.

The President has pissed off Vegas when he urged people not to visit there a few years ago. Union members were laid off as thousands of room cancellations at the last minute came in and the hotels did not have time to book the rooms. It was a huge blow to Vegas. Conventions went to other cities that were more expensive!

Of course the GSA does not mind spending 800k on some made up convention in Vegas.

I think our high unemployment might have people voting for a change! :-)

I was surprised when I moved to Reno years and years ago and found out how conservative most of NV was. Harry Reid was running against John Ensign and Ensign lost by about 400 votes that year. When Harry was in Reno he went on the local conservative radio show, Rusty Humphries, and damn near sounded like one of us. He is a damn liar and I hope to God this is his last term in the Senate.

They didnt, they thought about because if he lost his possible successors as senate majority leader are very staunch anti-gun but they decided not to endorse.

What is this shit right here?  A "rape baby?"  "Later" became pregnant?  She's pregnant right there and then when the sperm meets the egg.  And yes someone may desperately want to raise that "rape baby" via adoption.

Condoms aren't birth control?  What an ignorant, incoherent post.  Why has this campaign degenerated into the vile, unspeakable sex lives of DUmmies?

This is what the US, as well as Canada needs. This could be easily facilitated by targeting areas with rising unemployment and cutting corporation tax in those areas to encourage businesses to start up there, as well as possibly getting rid of the minimum wage, to allow employers to be able to hire more people.
