Jesus tossed the money changers out of the Temple, thus challenging the governmental control of religion. You had to use only the money and offerings that were clean in the Temple, thus the policy of money changers outside the whorship place changing money for a rate. Thus, Jesus was against the Israeli government 'taxing' the people in order to whorship God. His views on the Roman Government were equally clear- Give Ceaser what is Ceaser's. The Roman taxes were paid in Roman money and therefor not a concern of Gods...
Saying Jesus wanted helthcare for everyone is full of misunderstanding. Jesus heald the sick through faith, as he said, not through government programs. Jesus told the parable of the good Sameritan as an example to show people to help those in need, not wait for the government to do so. Paying a tax to the government to then use to help the poor was not what Jesus meant. Jesus meant for us to go and help those in need with our own two hands- through offerings at church, volunteering at various missions, and living a generous life.
