Thank you Dallas!

Our Mavs had their parade yesterday.  200,000 + people and only THREE arrests.  One PI, and two outstanding warrants.  It was a hot mother, and the trains were filled to capacity.  The stage was set for disaster.  And there wasn't any!

Kudos to Mark Cuban, for footing the bill for the whole dang thing, and also honoring Don Carter,  and kudos to our Police Chief, David Brown for taking ownership of the safety at this event.  He was a regular policeman during the 93 riots.

But, overall, Brown said the department's security plan was a success.

“If I could write the headlines for this, 'First class,'" he said. "[It was a] first class event, first class basketball team, first class city."
