Apparently, this writer decided he wasn't a man, went away to take some female hormones, and came back a "woman." Then he takes a leave of absence after blogging about his new-found identity, returns to work and continues his writing using his male byline.

Now he's dead, presumably as a result of suicide.

Kinda puts the kibosh to that ridiculous nonsense that transsexuals (which this guy was not, since he'd not gone under the knife), once they make the "switch" are happy, joyous, and free.

Tragic? The only thing that's tragic in this story is the tone of the articles which trumpet this guy's sexual issues.

That kind of shit is best left to the personal side of things. It simply ain't newsworthy.  :whatever:
