This reminds me of the time Slick Willie appointed a committee to decide what his core values were.
It was around the time he was running against Bob Dole for re-election, a year where we forfeited as we did in 2008.
I don't recall that the committe was successful in finding any core values for Clinton.

If you don't have some core beliefs, you got nuthin'.
I have a core belief and it is that every single American is entitled to (yes, I said "entitled") cradle to grave medical coverage regardless of health, wealth, or employment status.

Other countries far less wealthy than our country make this guarantee to their citizens and until we do the same, I will consider us on the second tier of the world's nations.

Someone tell the DUmbshit that other countries get to determine their own healthcare progress. I.e. infant deaths. We count deaths in utero. They don't.

As for a "right" to healthcare, a "right" is something that is God-Given and doesn't infringe on someone else. "Healthcare" does, unless you think people go to school, and spend ALL that money, to just give it away to you. With Obamacare, it's unless you think people spend 50-70 hours per week, that's a Conservative work week....yes, I know the Liberal work-week is half that, to give their earnings to you.

Healthcare isn't a right. Access to healthcare, I.e., no one can say, "Hey, you're a black guy, we're not serving you", is. However, access doesn't necessarily mean care. You have to pay for it, or have your insurance pay for it. Doctors don't work for free, you DUmb f'n morons.

I remember reading somewhere that the US was one of the only, if not the only country, that counted every premature baby's death, no matter how early they were born, as an infant death.  Belgium and France don't count infants before 26 weeks gestation, other countries require a certain weight or length before it is counted as an infant death. 

I'm sorry, but how pathetic do you have be to have "cradle to grave healthcare" as your core belief?  Not the idea that all should be treated humanely and with respect, not that all people have value, or any other deeper ideal, but freaking healthcare.

I don't actually know.  I would imagine that they use the same twisted logic to explain that they are not babies so they can abort them as they do to not count them as premature infant death.  Also, there may be a requirement that the child be alive when fully born (I think that was the justification used for partial birth abortion.  If the entire baby has not been born, it does not count as a baby

Thank you, CR. I was thinking the same thing: that sanctity of human life is a core belief, but not healthcare. But we both know that sanctity of human life brings up troubling issues for the DUmmies. So their core values center around policies and not actual values. What a surprise.

Do you have any links to those statistics?  I have some friends who are still not convinced that Socialized Healthcare is all that awful.
